How to mint an NFT on XRPL (no code)

Official XRPL docs show developers how to call NFTokenMint. This guide is the user path: Xaman wallet, custom traits, and a live Pixelverse mint.

What you mint

On the XRP Ledger an NFT is an NFToken — unique, not used as money. Pixelverse mints a custom image (IPFS metadata) as an NFToken, then creates a 0-XRP sell offer destined to your wallet so you can claim it.

What you need

  • Xaman wallet (formerly Xumm) with a funded XRPL account
  • A few XRP for the account reserve
  • For later mints: a PIXELVERSE trustline and the required token balance — see XRPL trustlines

Step-by-step

  1. Go to pixelversexrpl.com and choose Sign in with Xaman.
  2. Approve SignIn in the Xaman app. You land on the dashboard.
  3. Pick traits (style, character, color, background, eyes, accessory) and an optional personal tag.
  4. Save traits. When the row is ready, press Mint.
  5. Wait while the worker generates art, pins it, and submits the mint. Status polls automatically.
  6. Claim the offer in Xaman or via xrp.cafe.

How much does it cost?

XRPL mint fees are small compared with typical EVM gas. Pixelverse does not charge an extra mint price for eligible wallets. You are not paying OpenSea-style marketplace mint gas. You are responsible for XRP reserves and any token you choose to hold.

Why this is different from xrpl.org tutorials

Search results for “how to mint an NFT on XRPL” are mostly protocol docs and JavaScript sandboxes. Useful if you are a developer. Pixelverse is mint-on-demand for holders: you do not run NFTokenMint yourself. The issuer wallet mints, then offers the NFToken to you.
